Day Tours

Spend a relaxed winter day with our huskies.

This tour gives you time to experience the surrounding nature and become more accomplished at dog driving.

Program

On arrival at Alba Racing Kennel, you will be greeted by owner who will serve coffee in traditional wooden kota and explain about the life and training of a canine athlete. You will then be introduced to your teams and shown how to put on a harness and you can even help hitch up the dogs to the sled! You will be given a sled driving lesson, and then it’s off into the wilderness! Each person will drive their own sled with 4 dogs unless they wish only to sit in the sled and enjoy the scenery. We will stop at our Kota in the forest and prepare a delicous lunch over an open fire. On return, we can all thank the huskies for their hard work with a meat snack, help to un-harness them, let them run around and relax then take them to their own house for a deserved rest!
