Here at Alba Racing Kennel a very special attraction awaits you: an unforgettable safari on dog sled.

The trees on either side fly past as your very own team of eager huskies pull you quietly through forests and across lakes of the frozen wilderness. All thoughts of modern day living will be driven away by your new four legged friends of the north!

Program

On arrival at Alba Racing Kennel, you will be greeted by owner who will explain about the life and training of the huskies. You will then be introduced to your teams and shown how to put on a harness and you can even help hitch up the dogs to the sled! You will be given a sled driving lesson, and then it’s off into the wilderness! On return, snacks, coffee and juice will be served in front of log fire in the traditional Finnish kota.

                          Children under 14 years- 50%             

                          Prices are based on 2 sharing a sled

                          Drivers can swap halfway

                          To drive your own team add 20% to the price

Rates include       Refreshments and snacks,   

                          professional guide, winter clothing if

                          needed and insurance.
